Sharing of discussions & Planning

A discussion cum planning meeting was held in the Rajdhani train while returning from New Delhi on the 14 th of October, 2012. The members present during the meeting were as follows:

The discussion was mainly made on programmes and activities that are/ought to be undertaken recently and in the coming months.

The plan of action for the programmes and activities discussed are as follows:

October, 2012:
To follow up ST process and recommendation at Guwahati WPT Dept. And also to file RTI on ST recommendation and Welfare of Tea Garden Schemes after Durga Puja, i.e. from 25th October

November, 2012:
Consultation on ST of Adivasis from 4th evening to 6th morning of November at Tezpur.

Central Executive meet at Tezpur on 5th evening from 5 p.m onwards

Formation/Finalization of 10th Adivasi Mahasabha Reception Committee on the 6th from 10 a.m at Amoni, Nogaon.

Dharna on ST at Dispur on the 12th

State wide observation of Birsa Jayanti on the 15th

5th Triennial AASAA Central Conference at Adivasi Junubasti High School, Lakhimpur from 23rd – 25th.

December, 2012

One day conference of AASAA Delhi-NCR Committee and National Seminar on Adivasis on the 16th at Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan, New Delhi

Dharna on ST and Adivasi issues at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on the 17th

January, 2013:

10th Adivasi Mahasabha at Nogaon from 17th – 20th January, 2013

February, 2013:

Exposure programme of Central and District AASAA leaders to South India from 17th – 24th February, 2013

Kindly give your comments on the above as well as on the following plan with regard to amendment of the constitution to increase the members of Central Executive Committee from 27 members to 41 members for smooth and effective functioning of the organization during the 5th Triennial AASAA Central Conference which is to be held at Lakhimpur. This plan was discussed during the onward journey to Delhi by train on the 10th of October, 2012. The members present during the discussion were as follows:
